Technologies:
UML, C++, CANTATA++, QNX Neutrino Realtime OS, CAN / CANopen, Azure DevOps, Scaled Agile Framework®

Project Overview

Since 2007, a team of seven professionals has been developing and supporting the motion control software for fixed C-arm angiography systems of the Siemens Healthineers Artis product family. The safety class B software is responsible for controlling all moving parts of the device – from table to C-arm, from simple movements to complex automatic movements including safety supervision. By its high degree of configurability, the component supports all system variants with one software version. The agile team, attended by a softgate scrum master, pulls, refines, implements and tests features in an international project setup. Using the agile SAFe® framework, the team is continuously working on improving quality and productivity in a highly regulated environment.

Customer feedback

„Since the beginning of our cooperation, the situation within the affected sub-system changed from “tensed” to “relaxed”. Release dates and quality targets are fulfilled to a high degree.”
