A company that roll outs and operates fiber optic networks for municipal facilities, such as utilities, commissioned us to visualize the project planning.  Using the FTTx platform as a basis, we developed a traffic light system for the planning tool to show project managers approaching deadlines and construction progress. The traffic light system takes into account any information provided in the tool, such as manually documented construction progress.

The FTTx platform is a modular software toolkit that includes basic functionalities for planning, rolling out, and operating fiber optic networks. Planning is possible down to the fiber level.
